About Mariani & Reck

The firm presently known as Mariani & Reck, LLC was founded by Attorney Linda L. Mariani, who established the firm in 1980 after having practiced for several years at a large law firm. Attorney Mariani was also Deputy Assistant States Attorney in the Judicial District of New London for six years. Attorney Stephen E. Reck has been with the firm since 1996 and become a partner in 2000. Our law firm has continued to expand so that we may provide our clients with legal services of the highest quality on a timely and responsive basis, and with an awareness of the cost factors in each instance.

Our Fee Policy

Fees and fee arrangements are discussed at each client's first meeting with a lawyer. In most cases, our fees are based upon time and responsibility involved. You will be given a written fee agreement in which specific fees and anticipated costs for your case are spelled out. If a special payment plan has been arranged, it will be detailed in the letter along with information about your legal objectives and methods of achieving them. Personal injury cases are generally handled on a contingent (percentage of settlement) basis.
