Attorney
Linda L. Mariani has practiced in New London County
since 1978. She is a graduate of Cornell University
and Suffolk University School of Law and established
the firm of Mariani & Reck in 1980.
Attorney Mariani is well known for her experience in
divorce litigation, family law, personal injury
litigation, and civil and family mediation. She
serves as a Special Master for family and personal
injury matters for the Connecticut Superior Court.
The Parenting Education Program - which is now
required for all divorcing couples - was her
brainchild. And she is a frequent lecturer at
seminars for other attorneys. Admitted to the bar,
1977, Massachusetts; 1978, Connecticut; 1979,
District of Columbia; 1982, U.S. District Court,
District of Connecticut and U.S. Supreme Court;
1997, Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court.

Reck has been with the firm since 1996 and became a
partner in 2000. He is a graduate of the University
of Connecticut and the Western New England School of
Law where he served on the Western New England Law
Review. His practice concentrates in family law,
personal injury, general litigation, criminal
defense, real estate, wills and probate, and
commercial law.

Attorney
Carla A. Barone is a graduate of the City University
of New York School of Law and has been practicing
law since 1997. she is admitted to practice
law in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
She relocated with her family from New York City to
Southeastern Connecticut in 2005.
Attorney Barone began her career as a litigation
attorney for the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense
Division in Manhattan, New York. After gaining
extensive courtroom knowledge and serving as lead
counsel on several jury trials, Attorney Barone
engaged in private practice handling divorce
litigation, foster care, adoption, children's
rights, termination of parental rights and juvenile
rights matters. Attorney Barone is also
experienced in estate planning techniques and
methods after working as an associate for a firm
handling primarily high net worth clients.
Attorney Barone joined Mariani & Reck early this
year to further her dedication to helping families
in conflict. Attorney Barone enjoys all
aspects of family law litigation and strives to
create a positive experience for her clients, in
light of a high conflict situation. Attorney
Barone will be a certified divorce mediator
before the end of this year. |

Attorney
Lindsay M. Savona is a graduate of Southern New
England School of Law, and has recently joined
Mariani & Reck. Attorney Savona was born and
raised in New London County.
Attorney Savona's passions are family law,
personal injury, and criminal defense. She has
worked at prestigious local firms in the personal
injury field and through that experience Attorney
Savona has developed her enthusiasm for helping
individuals injured through no fault of their own.
Attorney Savona has also worked as a courtroom
clerk in the Judicial District of New London at
Norwich Family Court Division. While she was a
court clerk, she attended court on a daily basis,
sitting in on a wide variety of cases covering all
issues including custody, divorce, restraining
orders, and civil trials. This experience has
influenced her desire to practice matrimonial law.
She enjoys assisting individuals who are going
through such intense and emotional situations to
proceed through the process expeditiously, fairly,
and with dignity intact.
